Cinema Projector SONY SRX- R220
Sony comes with a new projector for cinema. The super projector for sony is a Gulliver- the SONY CineAlta 4K SRX-R220. For those whose hometheatre occupies an entire building floor, it is a good news. Multiplex owners may also rejoice as well since the projectors display is 8.850.000 pixels of super high definition recordings. The cineAlta 4K SRX-R220 is the new showpiece of sony’s SXRD (silicon X-tal reflective display) line. Even though this great projector can not touch that magic mark of 10 megapixels, it is equipped with a LMT -100 media processor, LMS- 100 screen management system, RAID storage and built-in UPS. Sony’s website claims that it has a Lambert brightness of 47,964 cd/m2 – around 14 feet. The images have a resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels resolution with a 2000:1 contrast. What will further gladden the hearts of multiplex owners is the projector’s ability to clearly show on a 65.5 ft screen with the help of its 4.2 W xenon lamp. The screen ration is reduced to 17 meters with a 3.0 W and 14 meters with a 2.0 W lamp. The pixels are displayed onscreen through the LMT- 100 Media Block which repairs low resolution images. It decrypts the contents of the picture well. It also processes the multichannel audio and places the subtitles. It can be connected to a computer, playstation 3 or Apple TV through the BNC connector.
