NFR in Las vegas This time
NFR or the rodeo as it is famously know has been decided to be hosted in the city of casinos and dreams and the ultimate destination for entertainment in the world Las Vegas, this years National Finals Rodeo shall take place place in December in Las vegas. The National Finals Rodeo is organized every year by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, which is the premier championship rodeo event in the United States. Wrangler Jeans is the title sponsor for the 10-day event with cash bowl of $50,000. This event is the biggest of it’s kind is actually more like a world series than anational tournament.
The National Finals or NFR as it is commonly known,is also sometimes referred to as the World Series of Rodeo and the Super Bowl of Rodeo. The NFR is held each year in the first full week of December, at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event uses a special dirt which stoed in advance for the event a year ahead in UNLV campus. As the NFR is undergoing progress a another event called Cowboy Christmas, a cowboy gift show, is held concurrent with the rodeo at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The championship started in 1958, NFR determines the world champion in each of rodeo’s seven main events: calf roping, steer wrestling, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback bronc riding, and team roping so as to choose team championship and individual championship awards.
As every year Oklahoma City has again bid for the evnt with a $30 million new stadium for the event but was well out done by the wrangler sponsored deep pockets and casino giants of Las Vegas. The event is so popular out here that as every year the tickets go in advance booking 6 months ahead and are a complete sell out months before the event , the only way to grab a ticket is to be early in the queue and get a WNFR Tickets as soon as possible without waiting for other friends and mates.
